Successful Ariane 6 Commercial Mission Highlights Technological Contribution of Réaltra Space Systems Engineering a division of Realtime Technologies Ltd.

On March 6, 2025, the Ariane 6 launch vehicle successfully completed its second flight, deploying the CSO-3 satellite into its intended orbit. This mission marks a significant milestone in the Ariane 6 program, representing its inaugural commercial operation.

Emerald Aero Group member, Realtime Technologies, through its Réaltra Space Systems Engineering division, played a critical role in this achievement. Réaltra Space Systems Engineering was responsible for the design and development of the comprehensive camera system integrated within the Ariane 6 launch vehicle while Realtime Technologies manufactured and integrated the electronic systems on board the camera. This system provided real-time video imagery throughout each stage of the launch, providing crucial insights into the rocket’s performance.

This successful contribution underscores the advanced technological capabilities of this partnership Réaltra Space Systems Engineering and reinforces Ireland’s growing prominence in the space sector.
