Jim Lenane was a long-standing member of the Emerald Aero Group and a deeply respected, hardworking, and forward-thinking entrepreneur. His strong work ethic and determination to grow his business, Lenane Precision Ltd, were evident throughout his professional life.
Within the Emerald Aero Group, Jim was more than a colleague, he was a friend. His jovial, larger-than-life personality brought laughter and light wherever he went, balanced by an honest, straight-talking approach that people admired and trusted. A gentle giant in every sense, Jim always looked out for others, noticing what many might miss and making sure those around him were doing okay. To say he is missed is a profound understatement.
Our last outing together was in Galway, where Jim sang his heart out late into the night. That memory remains especially poignant, knowing that the final song he shared with us was later played at his funeral. Jim’s love for his family, his wife and sons, and his love of life itself were clear to all who knew him.
He leaves us with a lasting reminder: to live life fully, to appreciate every moment, and to never take time for granted.
