We were pleased to attend the stakeholder visit at Future Mobility Campus Ireland as part of the French Irish Mission Programme (FIMiP), hosted on behalf of Enterprise Ireland, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ireland and the World Trade Organization
Shirley Walsh, CEO of (SCS) Shannon Coiled Springs and Chair of Emerald Aero Group Ireland, attended the event, with Fiona Murphy (Emerald Aero Coordinator) also representing the cluster and speaking.
Fiona’s presentation highlighted how the EAG supports members in achieving their international ambitions, with cluster collaboration helping aviation and aerospace companies scale globally, strengthen innovation capability, and build international partnerships.
The visit brought together an international delegation of representatives from ministries and policy organisations across Africa and Asia, focused on learning from regional development success stories across Ireland’s Mid-West.
The agenda showcased the strength of the regional ecosystem, with contributions from FMCI, the Western Development Commission , Clare County Council, Local Enterprise Office Clare, The Shannon Airport Group, and Emerald Aero Group.
A valuable day of exchange, collaboration, and shared learning across regions.
